Lena West, LMT Owner/Instructor
Lena became interested in the massage therapy industry when she was recovering from a car accident in 1997. She was in the good hands of a massage therapist throughout her recovery. After she received her bachelor degree from Saint Leo University in 2001 she decided to change careers to a less stressful and more enjoyable profession.
While working full time during the day, she attended evening classes for massage therapy and became a licensed massage therapist in Florida and nationally. As a result, Carrollwood Massage Therapy was opened in 2004 and she became a provider in 2007.
In 2007 she sold her massage therapy center and went into CE education full-time and continues to develop classes which help the LMT become more diversified and stay healthy. The classes she adds provide therapist other alternatives to main stream massage therapy to help their clients.
Once she started the classes she was asked so many times by students and industry leaders to help them start their own businesses that she decided to start her own business helping other therapist and spa professionals get started or renew their businesses. Lena's previous career was in building and design so she combined her knowledge with the massage therapy industry. She works with companies to help them increase business, change with the times, and even training personnel.
She started Spa trips to help society learn how to get the most out of spa-ing. She knew there was a way that everyone could relax at a spa no matter what the economic status.
